This so infuriated the local priest that he came in a huff to argue the matter out with the Master.

“But surely the word ‘God’ can lead us to God?” said the priest.

“To the disciples’ delight the Master said he wanted a new shirt for his birthday. The finest cloth was bought. The village tailor came in to have the Master measured, and promised, by the will of God, to make the shirt within a week. (more…)

“Standing in the noisy cafeteria of the old school, I was watching the students line up for lunch. Having wearied of trying to “cut” in line on each other, they were intently moving toward the food. As I continued to watch their progress, I began to remember scenes from my own grade school days. This old school building was somewhat similar to mine. (more…)
